Earth block masonry

Léém blocks are rectangular-shaped earth building materials made from excavated earth, composed of clays, silts, sands and gravels. Natural clay acts as the main binder. Léém proposes two types of block families and three mortars. 

The Compressed Earth Block (CEB) range uses 3,85% of cement as a stabiliser, and is certified for  water-resistance, acoustic, fire-resistant and compression strength in Belgium. To use with our reversible Léém Earth Adhesive Mortar (2mm) or Léém Additif for bastard mortar M10 (10mm).

The Moulded Earth Block (MEB) range contains no additives nor stabilisers and is our most circular range of blocks. They are not fired, are 100% reversible  and serve indoor purposes. To use with Léém Earth Mortar (10mm) or Léém Earth Adhesive Mortar (2mm).
