A steel rammer or tamper is a hand tool used for compacting and compressing rammed earth during application.

Use left and right arrows to navigate between tabs.

Apply consistent force by lifting and releasing the steel rammer from the same height across the surface of each layer of rammed earth until you have reached the desired compression.
