The Wall

Rammed earth consultancy for what could be the highest contemporary earth wall in the world at 15 meter high.

A rammed earth interior wall for the private house of Architect Peter Van Impe (AST77). A technical study and prototypes were made beforehand to reformulate the earth from the site into a rammed earth mix with compressive strength of 3.2 Mpa.

In the end, a beautiful wall made of only soils stands tall in this innovative project, which could only happen through an open and experimental mindset of all partners: AST77, BC, Argilières Hins and Het Leemniscaat.
