BC materials breaks ground with Hermès!

For the opening of the new summer shop windows of the Faubourg shop in the heart of Paris, the famous French brand Hermès asked BC materials to transform 9 tons of excavated earth in circular earth building materials, such as prefab rammed earth blocks and clay plaster.

The design & concept were developed by Antoine Platteau and his team, with the help of the architect Georgi Stanishev. The installation of the materials and modules in the Hermès-shop was executed by the Parisian contractor Kevin Berger (Golem). The bottom boards and dogs were conceived and developed by studio J'Adore ce que vous faites with our Brusseleir clay plaster.
